Gusting Drivers

Post by Roger »

Recently, here in South Carolina we were faced with adverse weather called "Hurricane Florence". Now, by the time Florence reached my location, it was nothing more than tropical depression Florence. It rained a bit and we had some strong gusts of wind, but you could feel the wind gusting best on the highway bridges and overpasses. The wind was probably gusting about 50 mph, which drove the rain harder into the highway's surface. It was the perfect hydro plane surface. So next, we needed some individuals with no common sense, and it didn't take too long for them to appear, since they were speeding and driving erratically (due to the gusts of wind and hydroplaning), so as they passed it became an exciting adventure not to get hit by these wayward drivers.

Next time, during a storm, one of us will be staying home and not venturing out. I'm thinking moi
