Some individuals seem to have an excessive amount of free time, leading to a tenuous connection with reality. Recently, an article on Game Rant suggested that Star Trek: Voyager was intentionally omitted from mention in the Apple TV show 'For All Mankind.' According to the article, this omission stemmed from a past dispute between Ronald D. Moore, co-creator of 'For All Mankind,' and Brannon Braga during their collaboration on Star Trek: Voyager.
In one scene from 'For All Mankind,' Danielle (Krys Marshall), the first African-American woman in space and a Star Trek fan, records a video message for her stepson Isaiah, expressing her desire to introduce her granddaughter to the world of Star Trek. A Reddit community member, however, speculated that Star Trek: Voyager does not exist in the 'For All Mankind' universe.
This assertion baffles me, considering that 'For All Mankind' is a show centered around alternate history, where deviations from our reality are expected. It is entirely plausible that Star Trek: Voyager never came into existence in this alternate timeline, despite any past disagreements between Braga and Moore. It's perplexing to contemplate why someone would invest their time and energy in such discussions.
