What exactly is Trump being impeached for in the US Senate?

Is it truly because of the assertion that Trump incited the rioting on January 6, 2021?

Trump's rhetoric has always been inflammatory in nearly all his speeches and a search of those speeches on YouTube will easily verify this. Claims that Trump egged on his supporters all have a basis of truth. For four years and plus this has been his modus operandi, that is, Trump's behavior over the period of time of his presidency is all the evidence we need. because the view the general public has of Trump, is why his supporters get fired up.

Untruths which quickly become the core of Trump's claims is something he wields as a weapon to further his agenda, but he's a TV personality that actually does not realize of the damage he does with words and smug detachment. As long as he gets his way!

Trump has taking the Unites States to the brink of anarchy, which many of his adherents are very much in favor of, and who chant patriotic slogans they hope play on the heart strings of the undecided.

This is just one opinion among the countless voices, but hopefully, enough similar opinions emerge to overcome the unAmericanism that has taken hold among the devoted followers of a former president who will soon find himself on the hot seat. No, I'm not talking about President Clinton! But I'm glad you saw the similarities of how the Republican controlled US Congress of the time persecuted that former president and for a lot less.
